I am so excited! I know I was asking you guys all about different breeds, and thank you so much for all of your suggestions! I just hated the idea of waiting until spring to find some of them, when Waffle is sitting back there all alone:(
SOOO, I got on craigs list, and found an individual near me that had three ee chicks, a blue APA auracana, a bantam frizzle chick, and a bantam cochin/silkie. The cochin/silkie looks suspiciously like a rooster, and he has ten toes. I did find out that I CAN have roosters in my city, so it may be okay as long as he dosnt decide to spend all day crowing. I have PICTURES!!!
He/She is two months old. Rooster? Hen? cast your vote lol
The whole gang...in my laundry room.
Frizzle! this is supposed to be a bantam splash frizzle...

Congrats on your new brood. That lil yellow frizzle is a cutie. At 2 months old- that comb is sure well developed- must be a boy.

yay! they're so cute!!!
congrats!!!!
i'm thinking happy low-crow thoughts for you!!! i miss my roo - i loved loved loved his crowing but my neighbors did not.
Love my DH, 3 kidlets, 3 doglets, 2 kitties (one of whom thinks he's dog #4...), 6 orpington girls: 2 blue, 2 black, 2 white Offline
Cute birds. You will LOVE them as they grow. Yea, I agree with the others . It certainly looks like a roo.
TC, if you lived closer I could give you my White Crested Black Polish Roo. He still hasn't crowed, but is so timid he won't go out of the coop unless the Houdan roo is not looking. Poor boy.
Dawn, remember to keep us updated on your chicks and take lots of pics!

Gosh! What a great website this is!
I'm so happy to hear your lovely stories.
Cute pictures of your new girls.
Congratulations.
Oh, how I love the blues; pretty things, they are!
My Andalusians are my favorites (though only one is actually blue)

Thanks for the comments on my new flock! I have always wanted a frizzle, a blue, a chook with feathered feet, and an araucana, and now I have all four! ha ha
Unfortunately, looks like one of my new EEs is a roo, and the blue cochin/silkie also seems to be a roo. I am alowed to have roos, unless someone complains lol I may be rehoming them...
