So, just felt like stopping by, ive been on CC like very day, but havent psoted in like forever. I seem to be spending alot of time in Mrs. Nesbits now, waiting for my dang swap items to get to Tammy! Anyways, Dot and Dash are both still doing wonderfully, though, dash is still alot smaller, and has less feathering and his feathering is not as fluffy as Dot, any ideas? Also, they are still on chick starter, I still had like half a bag full when i went to go get different food, and the guy at the feed store said not to bother, just keep using to chick starter, is this okay to do? Should I be adding anything to their food because of this?
I was hanging out with them today, it was hilarious! They were on the floor, with both cats and the dog, and everyone was having a blast. I made sure everyone played safe though. My dog is still a little afraid of them though, dont know why, they've never done anything to her.
It's lovely to have chickens around, I quite enjoy their company, dot likes to sit on my hand while im typing (making it quite difficult), while dash sits on my lap. After we chilled for a bit, i put them down on the floor at my feet and let them eat some dry oatmeal. Then I cleaned the brooder (yes, 9 weeks old and still in a brooder, dont have a coop yet. dont worry, im not still using a heat lamp) which is in my family room (the room im currently in, and spend the most time in) so as you can imagine, the brooder is cleaned quite frequently to prevent odors. After I cleaned the brooder, I went and made them some dinner (yes, i do make them dinner, only like 2 times a week though, the rest is all treats!), them made myself some dinner, then went skating, it was a nice evening.
By the way! I re-organised my brooder! It stays clean for like... EVER! I love it! I think it was a pretty smart idea.
Oh yeah! Another random question! At what age are silkies full grown?
Okay, thanks for reading. I'm a little skatter brained right now, all of the above looks as though it was written by someone with ADD, i COULD NOT stay on topic! Dont know why. if you have troubles understanding any of the jumbled mess that is my writting, let me know! I can probably un-scramble it!

Okay, like I said, I cant stay on topic. I posted this, THEN noticed that i didnt even tell you guys what I was actually going to tell you guys when I started writting.
Kay, so I was sitting here and I had music playing, then the song was over and it was dead silent and I started hearing a sort of laboured breathing. I almost had a heart attack! The brooder is right behind me, I thought that maybe one of my babies was dieing or something. I was SO worried! I got up to check and burst out laughing! Upon getting up, I woke up my fat cat that was sleeping on the couch, and realised it was him snoring! Not one of my chickens having respiratory problems!
