Mornings are hard.
He really made the yard. I have no incentive to go down to the coop in the am. In the mornings, Tassle would crow in the garage (no coop for his group yet) and he makes this shrill lil crow.
Big Daddy would know I was up then and he would crow and crow down at the coop. I would yell "I am coming, Big Daddy!" every morning. Now I don't have anyone to yell at.
On the other hand, the pea's are getting tamer and we can ALMOST catch them for bed now within 10 minutes.

It is always hard to lose a pet but especially when they have so much personality!

sorry............hope things get better fast, but will probably take awhile. I still miss my big dog. She died 2 years ago, and I wish she was still here. Hope you find another roo who will be just as wonderful.
