I just went out to check on Cindy. There are feathers everywhere. She has a wing mostly missing with bone exposed. I brought her straight in and she is under a heat lamp. She wont eat or drink but I will keep trying. I don't want her to go into shock if she hasn't already. I don't care if she only has one wing as long as she is alive... please someone.. tell me how to fix the part that is exposed. can I? it is the perfect tunnel for germs... I have to do something.
I'll go get pics now... if anyone is around... meet me in chat!

My heart is dropping. Anyone???
She is slipping on me.
I can't stand watching her suffer not knowing if it is even possible to save her.
Ever minute she seems more distant.

Is that bone I can see in the pics? Have you flushed it with Betadine yet? Do that ASAP. Use either a dropper or syringe, I prefer the syringe, with the electrolytes in it and place drops at the side of her beak.
Are you OK with stitching? This is going to be tough not being able to see in person what all is going on. If that is bone that means there is muscle torn that might need to be stitched before any skin is closed.
Any chance at all that a vet will tend to her wounds?
I accepted the Yahoo thingy. I am invisible but give me a shout anyway.

no I haven't but I will now. Yes that is the bone in the pic. It is sticking out about 1/2 inch. I don't think there is anything I can sew. Unless I remove everything down to the joint and I dunno if I can with her alive and awake.
I can't afford a vet IF I could even find one that would help a chicken around here.
I don't have Betadine... can I use peroxide and water (1;1)?
What about getting it into the bone?
I don't see enough muscle to stitch.

In the picture above the bone is sticking out at "3 o'clock" at the wound site.
I have flushed the wounds, covered them with antibiotic ointment and given her oral antibiotics. She isn't shaking as much and she is sleeping. I will try to find a vet that will help. The remainder of the wing has to be removed and I know I can't do it. Thank you Robin for all of your time (here and in chat) Cindy wouldn't have had any chance without you.

Update...
She is eating and drinking and talking up a storm. She even laid an egg! Her poo looks good.
My friend (vet tech) is on her way over now to help amputate that wing so we can close her up.
She is an amazing bird.
* I am still afraid to let myself believe she will be okay but somewhere inside I feel she will *
