Re: gender check??

I agree with the first pic, roo on the right.

That last pic could go either way.  shrug

Re: gender check??

thanks so much, the guy i got them from said they were all pullets, if the one is a roo, being brahma, would he probably get along with another roo? hopefully so, don't think hubby would be thrilled to have to make another coop and run...

Re: gender check??

You really never can tell but brahmas aren't the most aggressive roosters.. We've never had problems with roos not getting along (all wyandottes and wyandotte bantams), I think the main thing is having enough gals to go around eechick

You could give it a go, usually they just adjust in my experience wink If they don't hubbie's got his work cut out for him chickenwalkin

Re: gender check??

Well, I have from last spring, a Barred Rock roo that is learning i am top roo not him, and he has 5 pullets. Then i have the Brahma gang and 2 2-month old Astralorp girls, which will be merged with the Brahmas i hope when they get a little bigger, then the whole group will be integrated with the main flock... i hope! we live on ten acres and the ground is very rocky, so hopefully they will all get along, rather than have to do more coops..smile
