Thank you, thank you, thank you Lisa
They're adorable! The boys are already in love with them and asked why they don't cockadoodle.
I'll take as many progress photos for you as I can. How do you tell the males from females? Any tricks or tips? The little speckled one is my favorite.

I googled sexing, so nevermind...
However, I do have another question that I can't seem to find an answer too... Can these guys clear an 8ft fence? I don't have the run covered at the moment and these guys will have their own enclosure once it thaws here. Just wondering if I need to cover it too. Thanks

I think after 2 weeks they start to get flighty but not enough to fly over an eight foot fence.

Well, I've been reading everything I can find on domestic ducks. Apparently, very few can actually fly like their wild counterparts. The Swedish ducks will get 8ish pounds and I don't see them clearing a fence that high until I build a smaller enclosure, so it's safe to let them out in the run. I just wanted to double check before I had to chase my ducks threw the woods.

Terra is great about ducks, if you need to know anything

I've had cayuga, welsh harlequins, khakis, pekins, and mixed ducks. NONE of them could fly, at all! The BEI ducks I have, now those suckers can fly!

Agh- I just saw this! No they can't fly over an 8 ft fence. Other birds can though, like hawks, owls, etc...so watch out for that. The best these guys can do at full size is about a foot or tow off the ground. Just to get across the pen a little quicker or away from a pesty duck who is bothering them.
They look so big in the picture already! I had them with our 4 goslings, so they were the little ones!
Good Luck with them and the eggs- really! I wish you the best and want you to have fun with them! I love our ducks- I changed the pool water yesterday; it was so gross and mucky. Once it was 1/2 full, they hopped in and starting going crazy and splashing, swimming and mating like crazy. They are so funny to watch when you give them fresh clean water! I've got more growing in the bator now, so if anyone wants to buy ducklings like those in the pic, let me know. They'll be out in a few weeks.

It's funny you should mention that LOL I've had to replace their water 4-5 times a day, so I finally took a tray out this afternoon and omg did they go nuts. So much so that I brought them inside for a short swim in my tub. No worries, I made sure they were nice and fluffy dry before returning them to the barn. LOL Here's some pix :
