Re: COOPS ~ Post Pictures Of Yours

That shop and woodshed building look very strange from the outside, kind of rag- tag, but the insides are nice.  I am going to divide the inside of the coop in the spring to accommodate my new chicks.  I keep telling myself that I need to build a new coop on the west side of the shop and fighting the urge to convert the shop into another coop. lol

Repo....I'm in Galesburg which is off of I-74.  We're 41 miles east of the Quad Cities and 39 miles west of Peoria.

Due to some serious families issues, I am currently unable to make any diapers and/or saddles.  I will do my best to let everyone knows if that changes, but as it stands right now I just can't.

Love all your coops!  Great pics!

Well.. my chickens live in the Ghetto Coop (right now my dh nicknamed it the 'Oxygen Tent' since it's wrapped in clear plastic.. and he thinks it looks like something out of E.T.)  Someday, when the thing is painted I'll post pics.. I promise wink

Btw, love all the little x-mas stockings!!!

Terrific idea BJ!

Yes, the former owner ( a buddy of mine ) gathered them from nieghboring farm fields and built the coop with them.

Re: COOPS ~ Post Pictures Of Yours

I am having coop envy! Wow! Transplanted that is one cool get-up. Not many can break through that sucker!

Zuni...impressive.

Southern...nice...

ALL of them! NICE! Mine is an outbuilding that was modified to a coop so it's not as impressive.

I need to work on that...shrug

Re: COOPS ~ Post Pictures Of Yours

I can't take credit for it.
I bought the house from a friend I work with.
He spent alot of time on that coop.
I can't imagine the amount of work and time in pulling the rocks from various farmer fields alone.
He lived in the house 13 years, and a few years ago bought 40 acres of hunting land 5 mins away from it.
Then he started building his own house there. He did it all himself, except pouring the basement.
when he was finished, I bought his place and he moved there. Now he has to start himself a new coop.
