Re: online Veterinary Manual

i have a sick chicken, i've had to cull 2 others i think this one may have same thing but noticed sooner than others. need some advise on what it is and what i could do

two before had swollen eyes face down to neck, beak open and unable to close due to dried puss. it seemed to come on suddenly but i was away for a couple of days before i noticed this in them (the person feeding them whilst i was away might not of noticed).
i cleaned chicken house after this happened.

the chicken that is ill at moment has large swelling above breast, could this be the way the others started undetected?sad

You'll get a better response if you click on "Emergency Help" and post a "new topic" (upper right corner above other posts)

I would have to do some research to be able to suggest anything, but perhaps someone with more experience in this area will come on...but do try to repost under a new topic, otherwise they'll just think you're commenting on an old post...  smile
