Those Buttercup hens are beautiful! I love the last picture where the hen is facing the camera....she looks like she has a miniature moose antler. What are their personalities like? They sort of remind me of my golden campine hen except for the comb.

They look very much like the golden campines.
They are shy and a bit flighty, but one of them was thinking of being broody (I say thinking because she set in the corner for a few days but got off yesterday when I put fresh straw down) and was very calm when I got the eggs from under her, she never pecked or squealed or anything, I rubbed her and she just sat there.
From what I've read they don't do well in close confinement and they are in an 8 X 12 pen for now.
Once my DH's time and the finances come together we're gonna build a bigger pen that averages out to 3
8 X 12 pens.

They are pretty!
What color are their eggs? How many do they lay a day?
Offline
They lay white eggs. I have 3 girls and usually get 2 eggs from them every day.

Tammy are yours bantam buttercups? They're really pretty. I have one little bantam buttercup pullet that was hatched on June 5th, she's not laying yet. She's a sweetheart because she was the only chick for a couple of weeks. Anyone have a bantam roo or pullets/hens for sale?
Thanx in advance,

yep, they do, but kind of tough to find. Please keep me in mind if you hear of anything.
