th a povket knife.Whittlin'
Here is one of my crafts.
All whittled from a single board with a pocket knife.
That is what whittlin' is.

How long did it take you to do that?
You need to get busy and be ready to join our next craft swap, I'm sure there are plenty here who would like a wooden chicken!

Very, very, very nice work! 
When my great-aunt died, I inherited one of these, which was made by one of her great uncles--I can't get over the craftmanship.
I'm glad that somebody is keeping this craft alive. Have you whittled any little birds?
