Re: Latest pics of my Guinea Pigs

Rosie is so cute Steve!!
I hope they have pretty much worked things out by now!

Tammy, funny story, we had hamsters once... maybe twice... LOL We knew they were opposite sex, we were told same sex they would fight, and they needed friends!!! We let them have babies, cute little ugly things, and little monsters once they grew up too! I almost had to use a couple BRICKS on top of the tank to keep those buggers in! We had baby hamsters all over the place once! In the sink, in the laundry hamper, behind the entertainment center, scared the piss outta me when I saw it run across the room.
We tried the old 5gal bucket with books stacked up like steps to the top and treats inside, the cage on the floor with the door open. We caught maybe 1 each way, but it was still quite the adventure, until my girl went missing, then I found her of all places OUTSIDE in the gravel, like 50 feet from the house, she didnt make it, I have NO CLUE how she got out there!! There were a couple nites I would wake up with her running down the edge of my dresser, she too was an escape artist. Then our long hair hamster, we had to shave him LOL

Anyway, not my thread, so I will stop hijacking it, but I do hope the pigs are getting along and everything is going good, and the baby will be ok about Joey not coming around anymore. sad

Plan B
She wasn't having a melt down this time, but a few minutes ago she started asking again "where's joey"?
She said it three times in a row, so i figured I had to move on to plan B; I said "he went to go visit his mommy for a while"
She said "OK"

Maybe plan B will be the answer.
You'd think that she would have forgotten about him by now, but on the other hand, he has always been there for her; she's almost three and he was six, so to her, he has always existed.

Re: Latest pics of my Guinea Pigs

I know we couldnt have passed that on my great niece, Steve, but her attention span is full on until she gets an answer.  She is a very aware child tho, kinda scary.  She still remembers Mom, and Mom passed away over a year ago.  I never knew a kid that had that kind of memory at three.

She still is always wanting to know where Great grandma is.

Kind of a funny story..her OTHER great grandma who she has only seen a couple of times wanted her to visit.  So they were driving (she is an hour away) and Kellyn asked where they were going.  Her daddy told her "To visit great-grandma".  Kellyn said "Are we going to Heaven?" becuz she was a bit concerned, as folks dont seem to come back from there.  She was a bit confused by it all, but it was rather cute.  She keeps wanting to visit My mom, her great grandma.  She was upset that it was not the right great grandma.

How are your girls doing, anyhow?
