I would try the vanilla or the berry yogurt. Funny on your googling attempts.

for you. I was just reading the thread on the fire. Makes me cry for her
and her family. did you see it? It was listed under the BYC home tab on

Barg, go check out the links under deseases and cures, etc. in BYC. I
found the first answer to your problem here: http://www.birdcareco.com/English/Arts/ … l#diarrhoe there are a lot more links you can go to there. I didn't find anything in the "organic" one though. sorry, I didn't leave the link to that thread http://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/v … hp?id=8818 Last edited by ozark hen (07/22/2007 6:31 am) |

Quick comment regarding your diarrhea.
Have you considered your birds might have worms? Best is to get a fecal
float at your vet to know what you're dealing with, but in the mean time
some organic remedies include Using either of these can only help and not hurt your chicken, so It's ok to start these while you continue your search for the answer. If the symptoms dissapear in the meantime, you'll know you had worms! I've rescued several chickens and they always come with really bad diarrhea. I start them on 2-3 tsp diatomaceous earth mixed into wet cat food...usually within 2-3 days they're poops are normal, and I lower their dose of DE to 1tsp as maintenance (either through their feed, or in their treats). Good Luck |
