The Golden laced Wyandotte
is a Large breed Chicken that grows and matures at a medium rate; it is
characterized by its Rose comb, yellow legs, golden to reddish color feathers
that are laced with black tips. As with other Wyandottes, they good layers
of medium, brown eggs and well suited for colder climates.

The Easter Egg Chicken
(Also called Americana, and often mistakenly called Araucanas or Ameraucana.)
This is a "Mutt" Chicken and is not a true breed. They are bred
and sold for their Colorful Eggs, which is where they derive the name
"Easter Egger" or Easter Egg Chicken.
The Eggs they produce can range from blue to green , tan, brown or pink.
Because the Easter Egger is a mixed breed they can range in size, feather
color, comb type and virtually any other attribute; however generally
speaking, the most common traits include: Pea Comb, beard and muffs, greenish
legs and though they can come in any pattern or color, the Easter Egger
shown in these pages is a good representation of one of the most common
type.
