Dominique Chicks
Three Weeks Old

A small distinct spot often indicates a pullet, while a larger or messy spot that has a less defined shape often indicates a Cockerel
This chick has a distinct white spot and is a pullet.

Dominique's can be sexed at an early age by the spot on the back of their heads and, at an older stage, by the wash of dark color down their legs(or lack there of)

Both of these chicks are Dominique PulletsHazel, the one in the back, has a larger spot then Domineak, but it is still fairly distinct. This method of sexing is not 100% accurate.
